Our client is a specialist risk and advisory firm who, due to significant and sustained growth, are looking to recruit a People and Culture Advisor to work on a full-time but flexible and hybrid basis.

Reporting into the Head of People and Culture, the key purpose and primary responsibility of the role will be to provide HR support, Talent Acquisition, and HR Operations advisory to support day-to-day operations. Collaborating across the business, this role will underpin the organisational development of the firm in its next phase of growth.

This is a role that gives real opportunity for making a tangible difference and have real ownership both in terms of talent acquisition and systems implementation – the groundwork has been done but there is potential to move things forward, gain quick wins and really make your mark.    

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Enhance and deliver pre-boarding, on-boarding and off-boarding.
  • Lead the talent acquisition offering, and support the talent management framework for existing employees.
  • Manage the delivery of process improvement to support the performance management and goal setting timetable as well as all employee lifecycle activities.
  • Be the first port of call for all HR-related queries, including policy engagement and development.
  • Take the foundations of the benefits offering to the next stage, developing a Total Reward Approach. Work as the key interface for managing employee benefits, engagement and payroll platforms.
  • Administration of HR processes and the HRIS, analytics and HR reporting.
  • Ad hoc project work including benchmarking, HRIS review, HR metrics.

About you:

  • You are qualified to a minimum of CIPD level 3 and have a desire to continue learning and developing
  • You have a pragmatic approach to your work and are able to work analytically with an evidence-based approach.
  • You are proactive and are able to prioritise to meet the needs of the business.
  • You have an understanding and experience of UK employment law in action.
  • You have a growth mindset and a can do attitude
  • Experience of ATS (Workable) and HRIS is desirable.

Quality Assurance Manager - hybrid, 3 days per week, 1 in office
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 FTE
Location: Surrey
