This newly created, standalone role, reporting directly into the Founding Partner has come about in order to bring the finance function (previously outsourced) in house. You will be joining a business has achieved success by doing interesting work of the highest quality. In addition to the responsibilities listed below, you will have the opportunity to suggest process improvements where required and to provide insights to the leadership team.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Company accounts
- Setting up new suppliers/purchasers
- Review of monthly fees with the relevant commission managers
- Monthly Client Invoicing
- Approval and uploading of purchase invoices
- Monthly Bank account reconciliation
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Supporting our Management accountants with EOY accounts
- Payroll
- Oversight and approval of expenses
- Review of employee HMRC Tax notices
- Updating and running Payroll
- Pensions
- Setting up of new employees on system
- Monthly confirmation of correct pension values and updating
- Reporting
- Issue of Monthly Management and Debtors report
About you:
- You are a finance professional (ideally ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified)
- You have experience of and are comfortable using Sage Cloud and MS Excel / Smartsheets
- Experience of a standalone role would be an advantage but is not essential
- You are a good communicator and you enjoy liaising with stakeholders across the business
- Whilst there is plenty of support available, you are a self-starter
- Experience of multi currencies is useful but not essential
Flexibility: 2 days per week – 1 day per week from home and 1 day per week in Central London office.

Salary: circa £55,000 FTE
