Due to rapid expansion our client, a female led wellness and feminine care product company, has an exciting new role for a General Manager. Working alongside the Founder, Financial Controller and Sales Team, the General Manager will have the opportunity to have a key role in the strategy of the business by taking ownership of the supply chain and developing international business.
Specifics of the role include:
- Developing and implementing effective supply chain strategies ensuring sustainability and meeting business objectives
- Directing and being accountable for the company's day to day supply chain activities
- Managing production suppliers and partners
- Aligning and expanding production network as the organisation grows
- Assessing and ensuring warehouse facilities are optimised and fit for growth
- Identifying new warehouses and fulfilment centres in US and Europe
- Negotiating terms with suppliers
- Developing and implementing service levels with third parties
- Implementing new product development
- Ensuring legal and regulatory requirements are met in the supply chain
- Working closely with wholesale, e-commerce ad marketing to achieve business objectives
- Managerial responsibility
About you:
- Experience of supply chain management
- Exceptional budget management skills and financial awareness
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
- People management experience
- Retail and e-commerce experience with the healthcare/beauty sector
This is a fantastic opportunity to work at senior level with the Founder of the business and the senior team with the chance to progress within the company to a board member. Monthly get togethers in London are required and occasional international travel.
Flexibility: 3-5 days per week, fully remote
Location: Home (occasional meetings in London)
Pay: £50,000 – £55,000 FTE
